I love to sketch and paint with watercolour. Most often, you will find my kitchen table hidden amongst all my paint, papers and brushes. One day, I decided to paint a lemon and instead of throwing the watercolour sketch away, I created this blog to share it. I enjoy drawing on location where I can, there is just a different energy to a sketch when it’s drawn this way. When I am not sketching or painting, I am a busy mum of two living in London.
Congratulations on starting your art blog. I started mine in 2011. It made a great difference to me. The act of posting online my sketches, good bad and indifferent, made me become more reflective on my art, more adventurous too. I also gradually found a community of like minded people who have been an inspiration. I hope this works for you too. Thanks for following me. I will reciprocate.

Thank you – I am sure I will be posting my fair share of bad sketches too! But, I am really looking forward to seeing how my sketches develop over time and more importantly meeting like minded sketchers like you. Thank you for the follow and for your comment too 🙂

Great
What the artist thinks are bad sketches are sometimes the most interesting to those reading the blog.

Definitely, bad sketches always have a lovely looseness about them. I will remember this when I feel I have a bad sketch that I am about to post.
