I mentioned in my previous post how I am really enjoying the concept of abstract realism. Unfortunately, this month has been busy with job interviews and home renovation that I’ve not found dedicated time (or energy) to put brush to paper.
But, I was able to create abstract watercolour triangles and I really enjoyed watching watercolour just do its thing. There is something about watercolour where you have to let go of the outcome and just let it be; a little bit like life.
I am hoping to sketch a little bit more in June, especially now that the sun is shining and life is becoming less hectic (fingers crossed!).
I get it. I started doing watercolor with a pallet knife, a whole different way. And like you have discoverd it is a thrill to see how watercolor acts when you handle it out of the norm.
